June 4, 2008 – Albany, NY – Nicole M. Helmer, Esq. served as the moderator and co-facilitator of the Women’s Business Council Women of Excellence Panel Luncheon on June 3. The luncheon introduced the prestigious 2008 Women of Excellence award honorees. The annual event honors eight women who have found success in their professional careers and have given back to their community. 

 

The luncheon served as a forum for the women to discuss the turning points in their careers, the importance of community involvement, and what has inspired them to succeed in business.

 

Helmer serves as the co-chair of the Women of Excellence Committee of the Women’s Business Council. The Women’s Business Council promotes the full participation and leadership of women in the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce and Tech Valley’s economic development, community, and government. This is Helmer’s second term as co-chair of the committee.

 

Helmer will join the Women’s Business Council at the 17^th Annual Women of Excellence Awards Luncheon to further honor the winners and their achievements. The awards luncheon will be held on June 26 at 11:30 a.m. at the Albany Marriott Hotel. Attendance may be arranged through the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce.
