Veterans’ Preference in Administrative Furlough Webinar – March 15, 2013

Sterling L. DeRamus, Esq., Of Counsel at Tully Rinckey PLLC, is a military and federal employment attorney. He is a U.S. Navy Reserve Captain twice deployed to Afghanistan, and understands the challenges that veterans and federal employees face amid sequestration. In a live webinar, Sterling will discuss veterans’ preference, which allows employees with certain standing to fill the positions of employees with lesser seniority to avoid a furlough, in a process sometimes referred to as “bumping.”
