SDVOSB Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business

Government Services

SDVOSBTo help many struggling veteran entrepreneurs, the government created a special designation for small businesses owned and operated by service-disabled veterans. In 1999, the Veterans Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development Act established a minimum 3% goal of all prime and subcontract awards for designated Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) on an annual basis. President George W. Bush on October 21, 2004, further strengthened the designation by requiring federal agencies to develop strategies to greatly increase its contracting and subcontracting opportunities for SDVOSB’s.

Both Founding Partner Mathew B. Tully and Managing Partner Greg T. Rinckey have admirably served in the U.S. armed forces, and registered the firm as a SDVOSB. With this designation, the firm holds a competitive edge in the federal procurement process and is able to go after many set-aside contracts, up to $3 million in value. With many federal agencies struggling to meet their minimum SDVOSB goals, Tully Rinckey PLLC has greatly expanded the legal services they offer the government marketplace.
