Shirley C. Favata

Human Resources Manager

As Tully Rinckey PLLC's Human Resources Manager, Shirley is responsible for firm activities associated with human resources. In addition to serving as the firm’s benefits administrator, she works with staff on employee relations, employee engagement, new hire on-boarding, and training and development. She also manages and processes payroll for the firm.

Shirley attended Union College for accounting and finance and Russell Sage for commercial art. She was an assistant manager and a consumer lending officer at Chase Manhattan Bank for 11 years.

Shirley came to Tully Rinckey PLLC with 20 years of experience as the director of finance for a nonprofit agency that provided special education for preschool children with special needs. There, she served as the nonprofit’s benefits administrator, processing all health, dental, vision and COBRA enrollments. She was also responsible for payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, billing, and grant work.

Shirley is devoted to her family. Her favorite thing is to spend time with her children and grandchild. Her passion is the martial arts. She has been an instructor at Northeast Tae Kwon Do for over 25 years. She holds a master-level, 6th degree black belt. She is also an avid motorcyclist.
