Charts aggressive, multi-market course for growth in 2014
April 1, 2014– Albany, N.Y. – It was ten years ago today that Mathew B. Tully, Esq. and Greg T. Rinckey, Esq. joined forces, forming what would become one of the nation’s fastest growing companies – Tully Rinckey PLLC.
For five consecutive years, Inc. magazine has ranked the firm on its Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies. The Albany Business Review recently identified the firm as the sixth-fastest growing company in the 11-county Capital Region and CenterState CEO, a Central New York business leadership and economic development organization based in Syracuse, has named the firm an “Economic Champion.”
In 2008, the service-disabled, veteran-owned small business opened a second office near the White House in Washington, D.C., where attorneys concentrate on federal employment law, military law, and national security law. To meet growing demand in the D.C. Metro Area, the firm in 2011 opened another office in Arlington, Va.
A year later, in 2012, Tully Rinckey PLLC entered the Central New York market with its fourth location, in Syracuse. The next year, the firm continued west, opening offices in Buffalo in January 2013, and Rochester in July.
The firm now boasts close to 60 attorneys practicing everything from family and matrimonial law, to criminal defense, bankruptcy, real estate law, estate planning, employment law, civil litigation, military law, business law, corporate and commercial law, and intellectual property law.
“I’m humbled by the success we’ve found in each and every step forward and the team we have been able to build,” said Tully Rinckey PLLC Managing Partner Greg T. Rinckey Esq. “I credit the hard work and dedication of our attorneys and support staff, for transforming Tully Rinckey PLLC into both a statewide and nationwide powerhouse. And we’re not done yet. Not by a mile.”
At the foundation of the firm’s exponential growth is the leadership and vision outlined by Managing Partner Greg T. Rinckey and Founding Partner Mathew B. Tully. They understand the key role that the discipline, tenacity, and unwavering focus taught to them in the U.S. Army has played in their success as attorneys and business owners, as well as the success of the firm’s clients. Mr. Tully sustained debilitating injuries while serving as an Army combat arms officer in Afghanistan in 2012. He was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries he sustained in a suicide bombing, on what was the fifth deployment of his military career. Mr. Rinckey sustained service-connected injuries prior to being honorably discharged from the Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps in 2004.
Tully Rinckey PLLC continues its onward march. Just one year after arriving in the Buffalo market, the firm is moving into a space five times the size of its current one at 70 Niagara Street. And in May, the firm will open a 6,140-square-foot, seventh-floor suite just steps from the White House in the heart of Washington, D.C., featuring over 20 offices and breathtaking views of the National Mall and Memorial Parks. For more information or to speak with Greg T.
