Kenmore Mercy Hospital awarded Dr. Erik Diringer the Doctor of Distinction Award. Diringer, an intensivist in the hospital’s intensive care unit, exemplifies the hospitals’ mission and values, incorporates excellence into everything he does, shows respect and kindness toward patients and staff, and dedicates himself to the importance of stroke treatment and care.

Phillips Lytle partner Thomas E. Popek delivered a presentation recently at the Center for International Governance Innovation in Waterloo, Ont. Popek’s presentation covered international licensing considerations as well as practical and proven strategies for developing, protecting and leveraging companies’ U.S. intellectual property portfolios.


Company Connections

Lincoln Moving & Storage will celebrate its 100th anniversary on September 25. The company was started by John Palisano, the great grandfather of current owner, with his six sons. The company added a Syracuse and a Tampa, Fla., location and became an Atlas Van Lines agent. In addition to moving services, the company operates Lincoln Archives Inc., Western New York Foreign Trade Zone Operators and Lincoln Self Storage.

The Tully Rinckey law firm, which recently opened an expanded location in Amherst, has opened a new location in San Diego, Calif. The law firm now has a total of seven locations, including in Amherst, Rochester, Syracuse and Albany.

Moog Inc., East Aurora, was awarded a $9,142 federal contract for aircraft components and accessories from the U.S. Air Force Materiel Command, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla.
