Ranks of Super Lawyers at Tully Rinckey Grow in 2011

Providing further proof that Tully Rinckey PLLC is not only growing in size but also in respect among other upstate attorneys, four firm partners have been named “Super Lawyers” by a major brand in lawyer ratings for consumers.

Super Lawyers, a Thompson Reuters rating service that provides an annual listing of U.S. lawyers by state and practice area, has included Tully Rinckey PLLC partners to its 2011 New York Super Lawyers list which features only 5 percent of upstate lawyers. The firm’s Super Lawyers include Founding Partner Mathew B. Tully, Managing Partners Greg T. Rinckey and Steven L. Herrick and Partner Barbara J. King.

This list will be featured in the New York Super Lawyers – Upstate Edition magazine, which will be distributed to upstate attorneys and American Bar Association-accredited law schools and libraries. The magazine, along with Super Lawyer information found on the Internet at www.SuperLawyers.com, can be used by consumers as a guide for finding attorneys who have achieved a high level of peer recognition. To become a Super Lawyer, attorneys are evaluated on a dozen indicators of peer recognition, such as verdicts and settlements, experience, honors and awards, pro bono service and education.

Mr. Tully in 2004 founded Tully Rinckey PLLC, which has become the Capital Region’s fastest growing law firm and one of the nation’s leading employment law firms with offices in Albany, N.Y., Washington, D.C. and Arlington, Va. He concentrates his practice on military law and federal sector employment law. He is also an Iraq war veteran and a Lieutenant Colonel in the New York Army National Guard.
