Tully Rinckey PLLC in D.C. added Neil A.G. McPhie as a partner.

McPhie will focus his practice in areas of federal employment and labor law. He will eventually oversee the opening and management of the firm’s newest location, which is yet to be announced. He previously served for six years on the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board. Prior to that, he served as a senior assistant attorney general in the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia. He had previously worked at Virginia’s attorney general’s office from 1982 to 1988. He then served as an assistant attorney general and defended state agencies and officials against employment discrimination claims brought under federal law and wrongful discharge claims brought under state law. Before that, he was a trial and appellate attorney in the Office of the General Counsel at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
