Founding Partner Recognized for Purple Heart Award

The editors and staff of FEND extend their wishes for a swift recovery to Mathew B. Tully, founding partner of the law firm of Tully Rinckey PLLC and a frequent contributor of “Legal Matters” columns for this newsletter, as he recuperates from wounds sustained Aug. 7 in a suicide bomber attack on his unit in Logar province, Afghanistan, while serving on active duty as a lieutenant colonel with the New York Army National Guard. Tully, who was awarded the Purple Heart on Aug. 20, is expected to resume his role as CEO of the law firm in Spring 2013. This is his third overseas deployment since founding the law firm in 2003.
