Law Firm Helps Veterans

A local law firm is trying to help struggling veterans stay safe and warm this winter.

The Tully Rinckey firm donated nearly 30 new coats to Veterans Housing and Services, part of the Albany housing coalition.

The firm says it’s a way to say thank you to deserving veterans.

This year alone, the coalition has helped more than 400 homeless and at risk vets.

The Department of Veterans Affairs says one out of every three homeless adults in this country is a veteran.
