Local law firm hosts annual Turkeys for Veterans

ALBANY, N.Y. — The Tully Rinckey Law Firm and Hannaford Supermarkets are working together to help put food on the table for those who serve our country.

On Monday, staff helped pass out free turkeys to active duty service members and veterans as part of the 5th annual Turkeys for Veterans program.

Greg Rinckey, an Army veteran and managing partner for Tully Rinckey said this a way to show appreciation.

“We need to give back to our veterans who served and protected us. So it is our way of giving back to veterans and our community,” said Rinckey.

Organizers anticipate 150 turkeys will be handed out.
