Local Lawyer Awarded Purple Heart

One of the founding partners of local law firm Tully Rinckey has been awarded the Purple Heart for his service in Afghanistan.

Earlier this year, Mathew Tully left his role at the firm to carry out his military duties with the National Guard.

During his tour in Afghanistan, Tully was injured when he and members of his unit were attacked by a suicide bomber.

Luckily no one was killed in the attack.

Tully is currently recovering and is expected to resume his role at Tully Rinckey next spring.
