Tom Carr Comments on Dog Found Shot Dead at University at Albany Nano College Campus

Police in Albany are investigating who left a dead dog, shot in the head three times, in the woods near the University at Albany Nano College campus.

Police Investigators say the dog, described as a mixed breed weighing about 50 pounds, was found dead in the woods behind the Center for Environmental Sciences and Technology building Tuesday. Investigators say the dog appeared to have been also tied at its hind legs.

The dog was turned over for further investigation.

Authorities are now checking surveillance video, trying to determine when the animal was left in the area. Police do not believe the suspect is a UAlbany student.
