Traffic / Speeding Ticket Plea Bargain Limitations With New NY State Budget Proposal

Syracuse, NY Attorney Donald Kelly of Tully RInckey PLLC discusses New York State’s recent proposal of ending plea bargains for speeding over 20 miles per hour. Governor Andrew Cuomo is hoping to raise state revenues in his new budget proposal. Currently, when speeding tickets are reduced to parking tickets, the money is given to that city/town’s local municipality, and not to the state.
