The Albany-based, veteran-owned law firm Tully Rinckey PLLC has again expanded its New York State footprint by establishing an office in Rochester’s highly visible Four Corners business district. This continued growth stems from the firm’s ongoing success in civil litigation, family and matrimonial, criminal defense, trusts and estates, Social Security law, and real estate law – staple services offered by Tully Rinckey PLLC in Albany, Buffalo, and Syracuse.
The new branch office located at 16 West Main St. will officially open July 22, featuring Peter J. Pullano’s criminal defense services. Mr. Pullano, who has practiced criminal defense in Rochester for 26 years, joined Tully Rinckey PLLC as a partner. Throughout the course of his career he has handled thousands of criminal cases, including violations, misdemeanors, and felonies.
As a solo practitioner, Mr. Pullano has defended several high profile and complex criminal cases – including those involving federal and state capital offenses. He has also represented criminal defendants at the appellate level, including the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and the third and fourth departments of the Supreme Court of New York, Appellate Division.
Mr. Pullano’s experience, which began with an education at Albany Law School of Union University, provides a platform for outstanding service to clients in virtually every aspect of criminal defense. This emphasis on the client extends to Tully Rinckey PLLC’s numerous statewide legal services, which include Social Security law, military law, bankruptcy, employment law, security clearance representation, legal ethics and attorney discipline, family and matrimonial law, and trusts and estates, among others.
“Our continued and sustained growth is due to our disciplined focus on exceptional client service,” said Tully Rinckey PLLC Managing Partner Greg T. Rinckey. “Based on our research the market is ripe for Tully Rinckey in Rochester. Our firm provides a unique, efficient, and innovative approach to the practice of law that we believe will lead to exponential growth for our firm in Western New York and the best possible results for our clients in that part of the state and beyond.”
Tully Rinckey PLLC was founded after Mathew B. Tully escaped from the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. After moving from New York City to the Catskills in 2003, he a year later opened a law firm in Albany with Mr. Rinckey, a former Army captain and Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG) attorney. Mr. Tully is a lieutenant colonel with the New York Army National Guard. In April 2012 he was deployed to Afghanistan – his third overseas deployment since founding the firm. Mr. Tully’s service in Afghanistan afforded him with the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and Combat Action Badge.
Last year, Inc. magazine ranked Tully Rinckey PLLC No. 1,672 on its Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest Growing Companies. The firm’s high ranking on the Inc. 5000 is attributable to its 173 percent growth in revenue between 2008 and 2011. The firm has also been recognized by the Albany Business Review as the sixth fastest growing business in New York’s Capital Region for 2013.
