Tully Rinckey Donates $50K To SPCA

A legal victory in New York’s highest court against a state agency allowed Tully Rinckey PLLC to make its largest donation in firm history.

The firm presented the Schenectady Counts SPCA with a check for more than $50,000 on Thursday.  The check represents the amount the New York State Court of Appeals awarded the firm in April of 2012 in the landmark case of SPCA v. Mills.  The lawsuit came about after the NYS Department of Education refused to grant the SPCA a Freedom of Information Law request for the names and street addresses of all licensed veterinarians and vet technicians in the county.
