Tully Rinckey PLLC Promotes Schneider to Director of Recruitment

Upstate Expansion Spurs Department of Recruitment Rollout, Applicant Screening up 487% in 6 Months

November 12, 2013 – Albany, N.Y. – Much like its tally of offices on the East Coast, the ranks of attorneys and professionals interested in working at Tully Rinckey PLLC is rapidly growing. Consequently, the firm is pleased to announce that this increase in job applicants has driven the rollout of its Department of Recruitment, which is headed by Bethany Schneider. Ms. Schneider, who in March became Tully Rinckey PLLC’s first recruiting administrator, is now its director of recruitment.

Ms. Schneider’s promotion comes as part of Tully Rinckey PLLC’s continuing upstate expansion, which saw the firm open offices in Syracuse, Buffalo and Rochester during an 11-month period ending last July. The firm, which also has offices in Washington, D.C. and Arlington, Va., now employs over 100 people, including over 50 attorneys. It is currently looking to fill over 20 attorney and staff positions throughout its six offices. The expansion has resulted in a surge of interest from attorneys and professionals nationwide. Between last April and last October, the number of applicants reviewed by the firm has increased by 487 percent.

In her new position, Ms. Schneider is responsible for the planning, development, and direction of strategic recruitment for first-class attorneys and staff. Tully Rinckey PLLC’s Recruitment Department is responsible for maintaining a top-flight acquisition platform including strategic and tactical approaches to placing extraordinary talent within the firm. She directly handles attorney recruitment and oversees the staff recruitment activities of the firm’s recruiting administrator, Brian Englehardt.

In January 2010, Ms. Schneider joined Tully Rinckey PLLC as a client relations associate. By the following November she was promoted to senior client relations associate/deputy to the client relations attorney. She has also served as the executive assistant to the firm’s founding and managing partners. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in sales for a forensic supply company. She also worked in a customer service supervisory capacity in the telecommunications and graphic supplies industries, where she was responsible for screening, interviewing and hiring. Ms. Schneider is a State University of New York at Albany graduate.
