Tully Rinckey Gives Back

Tully Rinckey PLLC understands the importance of giving back to the community that has given it so much. Involvement within and service to the community is a priority for the firm’s staff. Over the past year, members of the firm have consistently come together to contribute their time and effort towards various and worthwhile causes in the Capital Region.

 

Tickets to the Times Union Center
In 2007 and 2008, the firm donated the use of its suite at the Times Union Center to over 40 non-profit organizations within the area. These donations have provided these worthy organizations with the opportunity to expose local residents and children to events they may never have had the chance to view, such as River Rats hockey games and Disney on Ice shows.

Adopt-A-Family Program
For the 2007 holiday season, the firm adopted a family from the Albany County Family Court. The program was organized through the Children’s Center at the Family Court, which provides a safe environment for children to play and learn while parents are dealing with court matters. Members of the firm purchased and wrapped more than 20 gifts for the 5-member family, including clothes for the children, new comforters for their beds, and a television set for their home.

Silent Auction Event
In conjunction with the firm’s recent open house, Tully Rinckey hosted a silent auction to benefit the Schenectady County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The firm’s staff organized donations from vendors, including the opportunity to attend a live taping of a Fox 23 news broadcast and a personal tour of the studio from lead anchor John Gray.

This coming year, in addition to continuing the programs described above, the firm will substantially increase the amount of pro-bono legal services offered by their attorneys. This effort will provide superior legal assistance to those so frequently underserved due to economic restriction. Tully Rinckey PLLC looks forward to continuing to better the community it serves in 2008.
