Randy J. Simons
Director of Media Relations
As the firm’s Director of Media Relations, Randy is responsible for raising public awareness about the firm by collaborating with members of the media. For media organizations needing legal analysis on various issues, Randy can ensure the right attorney with the right experience is properly matched to each individual request. He also proposes story ideas to local and network news agencies when information at the firm could prove valuable to a viewer, subscriber or listener.
Prior to joining Tully Rinckey PLLC, Randy spent 12 years as a news reporter for network affiliates in Albuquerque N.M., Fort Myers Fla. and Albany, N.Y. During his career he covered more than 2,500 stories.
Randy received a bachelor’s degree in communications from Buffalo State College in 1999 and an associate’s degree in criminal justice from Columbia-Greene Community College in 1996. He enjoys spending his spare time with his wife Danielle and watching football.
