Neil McPhie will be a Presenter at Blacks in Government’s 35th Annual Conference

Neil McPhieWho: Virginia Managing Partner Neil A.G. McPhie of the law firm Tully Rinckey PLLC will be in Dallas as part of the BIG conference from August 19th through August 23rd, 2013. Mr. McPhie will make three presentations on the topics of whistle blowing and importance of retaining counsel early in a MSPB proceeding.

Prior to joining Tully Rinckey PLLC, Mr. McPhie served as chairman of the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB). He has spent over 30 years in public service, led two government organizations, and managed multi-million dollar budgets. Now at Tully Rinckey PLLC, he pulls from this experience to effectively represent federal employees and personnel in a wide range of employment and labor issues, including discrimination, sexual harassment, equal pay, adverse action, Title VII claims, and Inspector General (IG) investigations.

What: BIG’s National Training Institute Conference is one of the largest of its kind in the country. This year’s theme is “Strategizing and Strengthening Government Leadership in the Global Economy.” There will be more than 200 workshops with some of the best and brightest leaders providing instruction in areas such as technology, health care, science, and homeland security. The speakers come from the federal government, state governments, Fortune 500 companies, and entrepreneurs.
