Tully Rinckey, PLLC adds Barbara J. King to its Family and Matrimonial Law Practice

September 18, 2007 – Albany, NY – Tully Rinckey, PLLC a full service law firm in the Capital Region, is pleased to announce the hiring of Barbara J. King. King will serve Of Counsel to the firm and will concentrate her practice in the area of family and matrimonial law. Through this position, she will assist clients and provide counsel in matters of divorce, child custody, visitation, and all phases of Family Court practice.

During her years in the Capital Region, King has become a prominent member of the community through her dedication to the legal field. Her work as a volunteer for the Capital District Women’s Bar Association Legal Project has allowed King to provide women with knowledge of their rights in Family Court. Additionally, she has assisted the legal clinic at the YWCA and offers her legal services in matrimonial clinics at no charge. For her pro bono efforts, King has received awards from the Suffolk County Bar Association, the Capital District Women’s Bar Association and the Bar Association of the State of New York.

King is also a member of the New York State Bar Association, where she served as a delegate for six years, and is a member of the Schenectady County Bar Association, where she is chair of the Pro Bono Committee.

A graduate of the CUNY Law School at Queens College, King served as a member of an Albany area law firm prior to joining Tully Rinckey. She is admitted to practice in the courts within New York State.
