Tully Rinckey PLLC, a nationally recognized full-service law firm, is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate to join our Syracuse, NY office. This is a great opportunity for an attorney with 2–4 years of experience to develop their litigation practice while collaborating with a team of AV-rated attorneys recognized by Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers.
Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in all phases of civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, memoranda, and briefs
  • Engage in negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions
  • Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel
  • Work closely with senior attorneys to prepare cases for hearings and trials

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
  • Admission to practice law in New York State (federal admission a plus)
  • 2+ years of civil litigation experience
  • Strong research, drafting, and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to professionalism and client service

Compensation & Benefits:
Beginning January 1, 2026, newly admitted attorneys at Tully Rinckey PLLC receive a starting salary of $120,000, along with the opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses of up to 60% of base salary, rewarding productivity, excellence, and client impact.
