Rochester, N.Y. – Many active duty and retired military personnel will have a nice treat this Thanksgiving.
Tully Rinckey law firm gave away 100 free turkeys Friday, as part of the “Turkeys for Veterans” initiative.
The program was first launched at the firm’s Albany office in 2009.
This is the first year it’s expanded to Rochester.
Tully Rinckey says it has a long-standing record of service with the military. Many of its 70 employees, including the firm’s founding partners, are veterans.
“Now, it’s Thanksgiving. It’s time to say thanks. We want to say thanks to our vets and we think a turkey for Thanksgiving dinner is a great way to do it,” said Peter Pullano, managing partner at Tully Rinckey.
The Turkeys for Veterans program also expanded to the Buffalo area this year.
