Veterans receive free turkeys for the Thanksgiving holiday

VESTAL (WBNG) One law firm spent its Tuesday giving free turkeys to Veterans for the holidays.

Tully Rinckey partnered with Price Chopper for the “Turkeys for Veterans” program.


This is the first year the program has come to the Binghamton area.

Active duty service people and veterans were included in the giveaway.They just needed to show identification and they were given a free frozen turkey from Price Chopper.

“Building good will with our veterans letting them know they are appreciated and really respected and respected throughout our community,” said Tully Rinckey of Binghamton Managing Partner, Peter Charnetsky.

Tully Rinckey has given free turkeys to vets in Albany For the past 8 years.

The firm hopes to make Turkeys for Veterans a tradition now in Binghamton as well.
