As the business development writer at Tully Rinckey America Service Corporation, Christina Couto assists with the firm’s marketing initiatives by composing engaging and informational material for use in a variety of print and online publications, writing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), practice area descriptions, advertising copy, attorney and client presentations and marketing pitches. In this role, Christina’s central focus is to consistently reflect the firm’s core visions in a skillful manner, while providing important legal information to potential clients and external media outlets.
Before joining Tully Rinckey, Christina was the marketing and communications editor for the New York State Bar Association, where she oversaw writing, editing and production of the State Bar News, a legal publication for State Bar members. She also wrote substantive articles regarding current legal affairs and issues facing the legal profession.
Christina also handled press inquiries, connecting reporters and media outlets with legal experts, in addition to writing press releases regarding State Bar legislative initiatives and current events.
She previously was an editor in corporate communications for a Seattle actuarial firm and has worked for various West Coast news publications as both an editor and reporter.
Christina earned a bachelor of arts degree in communications, with an emphasis in journalism and political science, from Washington State University.
