Bridgette Woodford is an associate with Tully Rinckey, PLLC’s Buffalo office. Bridgette graduated cum laude from Penn State Law in 2023, where she served as the external communications editor for the Arbitration Law Review. Bridgette developed a passion for the federal employment practice area while working in her law school’s Civil Rights Appellate Clinic. There, she had the opportunity to help develop a petition for certiorari with the Supreme Court of the United States on a USERRA issue. Bridgette also helped draft an amicus curiae brief for the Supreme Court of the United States in the case of Groff v. Dejoy, a significant SCOTUS decision in the religious accommodation sphere.
Bridgette has litigated disciplinary actions, failure to restore appeals, constructive discharge actions, USERRA appeals, and retirement actions, before the Merit Systems Protection Board. She has also litigated discrimination complaints before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, inclusive of complaints alleging discrimination based on race, sex, color, religion, national origin, disability, age, retaliation, and association with an individual with a protected trait. Bridgette assists federal employees with federal disability retirement applications, requests for reasonable accommodations, and responding to disciplinary action. She is meticulous and her representation exudes the same. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family and watching Penn State Nittany Lions’ football.
