Nancy Nissen, Esq., is a partner in Tully Rinckey’s White Plains, NY, office, where she focuses her practice on labor and employment and family and matrimonial law.
Nancy joins the practice with a unique perspective on labor and employment law, attained from her prior experience as in-house counsel for a large family-owned property management company. She has experience representing and advising the company in various types of employment-related matters. Additionally, she brings her experience as an accomplished family and matrimonial law attorney.
Nancy began her career as a Special Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York. There, she handled matters related to family law, neglect, and abuse, and then went on to represent spouses and parents going through divorce and matters related to child custody and child support litigation, as well as all areas of matrimonial and family law. Nancy also has a strong record of successful appellate work experience.
During her time as associate general counsel, Nancy provided advice and guidance on an extensive range of employment-related issues, including discrimination, harassment, unemployment, union grievances, and arbitrations. Her experience gives her insight into the problems employers confront every day. She understands the complex challenges faced by employers and the strategies corporations need to utilize to mitigate risk and protect their employees.
