Camille Tealer Misage is a Law Clerk based in Tully Rinckey’s Austin, Texas office.
Camille graduated from St. Mary’s School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctorate Degree, and prior, the University of Texas at Austin where she earned a B.A. Degree in Government with a minor in Philosophy of Law. While at St. Mary’s, Camille was a member of The Scholar, St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice. Her article, Texas’ Black Maternal Mortality Crisis: A Spotlight on The Texas Legislature’s Alternatives to Abortion Program, was selected for publication for its 28th Volume. Camille was awarded the St. Mary’s School of Law Public Service Fellowship twice and maintains a commitment to providing a voice for the underserved and public interest organizations. Camille received the St. Mary’s Service Recognition Certificate for completion of over 400 hours of Pro Bono legal support to public service organizations and attorneys in the San Antonio area. Camille was a recipient of the St. Mary’s School of Law Dean’s Award for her leadership, service, and academic achievement during law school.
Prior to Tully Rinckey, Camille worked for a number of nonprofit organizations including the Travis County Democratic Party and Planned Parenthood Texas Votes. During law school she interned with The Bexar County Staff Attorney’s Office and worked with Pro Se civil litigants in a variety of family law matters including divorce, child custody and support.
Camille found a passion for Employment law as a litigation clerk for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Camille provided support for the Commission’s trial attorneys on a number of matters including depositions, mediations, and legal analysis of discrimination claims selected for trial.
Camille served as a law clerk for the Rosenblatt Law Firm in San Antonio and provided support on a number of business litigation claims in addition to defense side EEO claims.
In her free time, Camille enjoys time outdoors with her husband, learning new recipes, live music, and the Texas Longhorns.
