Hope Sage is an attorney and commissioned officer in the Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps of the Mississippi Army National Guard. Her practice is informed by a career grounded in military service, leadership, and courtroom advocacy, giving her a distinctive perspective when representing clients in complex and consequential legal matters.

Hope’s military career began on the enlisted side, where she served for six years in a human resources role before earning her commission as an officer in the JAG Corps. Having experienced military service from both the enlisted and officer perspectives, she brings a practical understanding of military culture, command structure, and the unique professional and personal challenges faced by service members and their families.

Hope earned her Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law, where she distinguished herself in trial and appellate advocacy. She competed extensively in both disciplines, culminating in a National Championship at the John L. Costello National Criminal Law Trial Advocacy Competition. She was also inducted into the Order of Barristers in recognition of excellence in courtroom and oral advocacy.

Her legal experience includes judicial externships in Mississippi Chancery Court and with the Mississippi Court of Appeals, providing valuable insight into both trial-level litigation and the appellate process. Her experience also includes litigation, child advocacy, and service as a guardian ad litem.

As both a civilian attorney and military officer, Hope brings discipline, sound judgment, and a mission-focused approach to her practice. She emphasizes strategic preparation, effective advocacy, and clear communication while helping clients navigate difficult and high-stakes legal matters.

Outside of her legal and military careers, Hope is the mother of two daughters. Her roles as an attorney, military officer, and mother continue to shape her commitment to service, leadership, and advocacy both professionally and personally.
