Michele Marianna Bonsignore, Esq. is Senior Counsel in Tully Rinckey’s White Plains office where she focuses her practice on Criminal Defense, Child Custody, Adoption, Article X hearings, Secured Creditors Rights including Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Evictions, Replevins and Debt Collections.
Michele has successfully represented secured creditors in default servicing throughout the state of New York and maintained a caseload of contested and uncontested files from intake to sale of property including drafting litigation papers. She has also represented secured lenders in Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 proceedings and handled post-sale eviction proceedings throughout the state of New York, in addition to defending orders to show cause, motions to quiet title and litigation.
Michele also served as Of Counsel to several firms in New York state’s 9th district representing consumer rights and debt collection in addition to family law matters, drafting pre- and past nuptial agreements for partners in financially at risk-relationships. She acted as Lead Counsel in several jury and bench trials, both civil and criminal, in state and federal courts, which include drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and appellate briefs for consumer rights in an Of Counsel capacity. She has also engaged in a broad-based solo litigation practice focusing on identifying and responding to the specific needs of individual and corporate clients.
In addition, Michele has performed extensive legal research for various aspects of civil litigation and provided legal services and counseling. Her practice focused on civil-criminal cases, and mergers and acquisitions and immigration issues, where she performed residential and commercial real estate closings on behalf of banks, sellers and purchasers.
Michele earned her bachelor of arts degree from the University of Mount Saint Vincent, a master of science degree in social work from Columbia University School of Social Law and her juris doctorate from the Elizabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University.
