Nancy Nissen, Esq. is a Partner in Tully Rinckey PLLC’s White Plains office, where she concentrates her practice in Family and Matrimonial law. Nancy also assists clients and families with matters in Education Law involving IEPs, 504s, and student grievances at the college level.

Nancy has dedicated her career to helping individuals and families navigate complex legal challenges. Her family and matrimonial practice covers divorce, separation agreements, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, custody and visitation disputes, child support, spousal maintenance, paternity, child abuse and neglect defense, and family offense proceedings. She has also represented clients in modification, violation, and enforcement proceedings across custody and support matters. She also assists clients in appealing and amending indicated finding of maltreatment maintained by the New York State Central Register. Nancy’s experience and accomplishments were recognized with her selection to the 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Family Lawyers.

In addition to her litigation experience, Nancy is a Divorce Mediator trained by the NYS Counsel on Divorce Mediation and is committed to helping clients resolve disputes through alternative dispute resolution. She draws on her mediation skills to de-escalate conflict, foster productive dialogue, and guide parties toward solutions that are both practical and sustainable—particularly in sensitive family law and educational disputes.

With her breadth of experience and commitment to client service, Nancy is a diligent advocate who combines litigation strength, mediation skills, and practical negotiation strategies to achieve the best outcomes for her clients.
