Sharuk Amra is an Associate Attorney in Tully Rinckey PLLC’s Buffalo, New York office, where she practices in the areas of family and matrimonial law. Prior to joining Tully Rinckey, Sharuk served as a criminal prosecutor in Pennsylvania for three years, representing the Commonwealth and gaining substantial experience in litigation, courtroom advocacy, legal research, and negotiation.
Sharuk transitioned to private practice following her move to New York, bringing her prosecutorial experience and litigation background to her practice. Her prior experience provides her with a strong foundation in navigating complex legal matters, advocating for clients, and effectively presenting cases in court.
Sharuk earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from West Chester University and her Juris Doctorate from Widener University Delaware Law School. While in law school, she was Vice President of the Moot Court Honor Society Distinguished Jurist Competition, earned first place in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Negotiation Competition, and was selected to be a National Member of The Order of Barristers.
