Pregnant Workers Fairness Act
While Texas offers many protections for pregnant workers, following the passage of the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), another layer of protection has been added, requiring Texas employers with more than 15 employees to offer some sort of reasonable accommodations to pregnant workers with limitations on their working capabilities due to their pregnancy or childbirth.
