Strategies For Success: Rochester Estate Planning Workshop

We invite you to join us Thursday, March 28th for a workshop on estate planning basics. Tully Rinckey PLLC Partner Jeffrey Johnstone will cover the basics of estate planning, what legal documentation you should have to protect your estate, and UBS Financial Services, Inc. Senior Vice President Wealth Management Annemarie Cook will discuss the importance of a personal financial plan, one that represents what’s important to you and how to recognize critical financial events.

The workshop will be held from 5:30-7:30 PM with time allotted for any questions you might have.

About The Presenters 

Jeffrey Johnstone, Partner

Jeffrey M. Johnstone is a Partner in Tully Rinckey PLLC’s Rochester office, where his practice is concentrated in estate planning, trusts, estate administration, corporations and business, not-for-profit entities, and federal and New York tax. He is admitted to practice in New York and Florida, in addition to the U.S. Court for the Western District of New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the U.S. Tax Court. Prior to joining Tully Rinckey, Jeffrey was an equity Partner with Harris, Chesworth, O’Brien, Johnstone & Welch, LLP.

Annemarie Cook, Senior Vice President

Annemarie Cook has been a Financial Advisor since 1995. She started with Prudential Securities in 1995, and then moved to Morgan Stanley in 2000. She joined UBS Financial Services Inc. in 2016. She is a General Securities Representative, Investment Advisor Representative, and is licensed in Managed Futures.

In her role as Financial Advisor, she is responsible for analyzing client objectives, determining strategic and tactical asset allocation policies, selecting investment managers, and reviewing portfolio results. During these reviews, Annemarie compares the performance of the current investment strategy to a written plan to help ensure that each client is making progress towards achieving their financial and lifestyle goals.

Annemarie studied abroad at the London School of Economics and the London School of Design, and she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Marymount College- Fordham University. She moved to Rochester in 1995 so her husband, Wade, could pursue his PhD in Optics at the University of Rochester.

Annemarie is an active volunteer with the community, and serves on a variety of boards, including the Seneca Waterways Council Boy Scouts of America and is a previous board member of Rapshaw Hunting and Fishing Club and Valley Manor.

Annemarie lives in Rochester with her husband, Wade. They have two grown sons. In her spare time, Annemarie is involved in competitive sailing, and is a member of the Rochester Yacht Club and the Sodus Bay Yacht Club. She also enjoys kayaking and skiing. Annemarie enjoys spending time with her family in the Adirondacks and at their family cottage on Sodus Bay.
