Overview:
Are you a veteran of any military branch who might be eligible for veterans’ benefits, but don’t have an honorable discharge? It can be difficult to obtain benefits such as service-connected compensation, but it’s not impossible.
Veterans are invited to join an upcoming webinar focused on the most effective strategies for removing “bad paper,” commonly known as an Other Than Honorable (OTH) discharge.
This webinar, “Correcting ‘Bad Paper’ in Military Records” will be led by Stephen Jewell, Esq., Senior Associate at Tully Rinckey PLLC, who will guide participants through the process of seeking corrections to their military records.
Participants in this webinar will learn more about:
- identifying errors in military records requiring correction;
- evaluating why errors are improper or unjust and determining the appropriate remedy; and
- understanding correction options, including timing and proper channels for filing an appeal.
