The ABC's of Preparing for CSE Meetings

Overview:

Nicholas Marricco, Associate in Tully Rinckey PLLC’s New York City office, will be presenting a free continuing legal education (CLE) seminar, “The ABC’s of Preparing for CSE Meetings” on Friday, January 19, 2024.

This CLE will provide guidance on how NYS attorneys can prepare themselves for CSE meetings. The goal will be to prepare attorneys who represent parents in these meetings to help their clients achieve a FAPE for their special education child.

Topics Include:

  • When to request a CSE meeting
  • What information to receive from your Client before requesting an IEP/CSE meeting
  • How to review IEPs if one exists before requesting a CSE meeting
  • Requesting an IEP/CSE meeting
  • Preparing your parent client for a IEP/CSE meeting 

How to Join:

To participate, please register using the form on this page. Upon registering, you will receive a link and instructions on how to access the CLE.  A timed agenda, supplemental course materials, an attorney affirmation and a course evaluation will be circulated on the day of the CLE.

After the CLE, please fill out and return the completed attorney affirmation and course evaluation to cle@tullylegal.com. Upon receipt, we will provide a certificate of CLE completion.
