Kurt joined Tully Rinckey PLLC in 2023 as a law clerk, where he focuses on Military Law. Currently, Kurt is a third-year student at the University at Buffalo School of Law. While at the University at Buffalo, he was a submissions editor for the Buffalo Human Rights Law Journal and was twice elected as the President of the University at Buffalo student chapter of the American Constitution Society. Additionally, Kurt competed in the 2022 Quinnipiac University moot court competition.
Prior to joining Tully Rinckey PLLC, Kurt enlisted in the United States Army on Active Duty for five years. During that time, he was stationed at Fort Bragg, NC, where he served as a military policeman and as a paratrooper. While on Active Duty, he completed a 12-month deployment to Iraq and a 6-moth deployment to Qatar. In 2019, Kurt received a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Army Reserves. Presently, he holds the rank of First Lieutenant and serves as the Executive Officer for the 77th Personnel Company in Tonawanda, NY.
