With more than 20 years’ experience practicing law, Patrick J. Kilker, Esq. is a Partner in the Binghamton office of Tully Rinckey PLLC, where he focuses his practice on Criminal Law.
Prior to joining Tully Rinckey PLLC, Patrick was a solo practitioner with an emphasis on Criminal Law. More specifically, Pat has extensive criminal defense experience and has handled over a thousand cases from inception through appeal. From traffic tickets to murder, Pat was exclusively responsible for handling difficult cases and succeeding at trial.
Pat is a native of Broome County having been raised in Windsor, New York. After graduating from Western New England College School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts in July of 1993, he volunteered his assistance helping those less fortunate than himself at the Broome County Legal Aid Society. Pat handled a multitude of cases in various practice areas such as Family Court, Divorce, Landlord/Tenant Defense, Constitutional violations and other Civil matters. Following his tenure at the Legal Aid Society, in 1996, Pat joined a criminal defense firm in Binghamton focusing on DWI, drug cases, assault and weapons charges, DMV issues and more and was the firm’s leading defense counsel for over ten years before founding his own law practice in Binghamton, New York
Pat obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Binghamton University in 1989 and his Juris Doctorate from Western New England College School of Law in 1993. He then passed the New York State Bar Exam and was sworn in 1994.
Pat is licensed to practice law in all courts of the State of New York and is admitted in Federal Court in the Sixth Judicial District. Pat has defended those accused of Federal RICO violations as well as Continuing Criminal Enterprise, Drug Trafficking, Embezzlement and other White Collar crimes, Conspiracy (in matters under FBI jurisdiction), Homicide cases and more.
Pat is a member of the Broome County Bar Association, the New York Civil and Criminal Defense Attorneys Association, the New York Criminal Defenders Association.
When he’s not in the office, Pat enjoys working out at the gym, golfing, hiking and fishing, he is the past President (twice) of the Johnson City Eagles club and also volunteers his time for legal services in Landlord/Tenant Defense cases.
