One of the Nation’s Largest Federal Sector Labor and Employment and Military Law Firms Expands to New Office

PRWEB.COM Newswire
April 10, 2014

Six years after opening a law office at 1800 K St., where it became one of the nation’s largest federal sector labor and employment and military law firms, Tully Rinckey PLLC will begin welcoming clients to its new office at the recently redeveloped 815 Connecticut Ave. NW. At this new location, the firm will not only continue serving federal employees, unions, and associations as well as defense contractors, it will also build a private sector counterpart to its nationally recognized federal sector labor and employment law practice group.

The move to 815 Connecticut Ave. NW puts the firm’s labor and employment law, military law and security clearance representation attorneys on a single floor. On the seventh level of the building, the D.C. team will reside in a 6,140-square-foot suite which features over 20 offices and breathtaking views of the National Mall and Memorial Parks. Since April 2008, as demand for its attorneys’ services grew, Tully Rinckey PLLC had been expanding within the firm’s 1800 K St. location. By 2013, the firm occupied four suites on three floors in that location. With another office in Arlington, Va., Tully Rinckey PLLC employs nearly 30 attorneys in the D.C. Metro Area. Attorneys at the new D.C. office practice federal sector labor and employment law, private sector labor and employment law, security clearance representation, and military law.

Alecta Real Estate Investment owns 815 Connecticut Ave. NW, a 12-story building that features a rooftop terrace with stunning views of the White House front lawn. The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) recently awarded the building with LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum certification. Dan Rasmussen and Will Courtney with DTZ, a global leader in property services, worked with Tully Rinckey PLLC to broker the deal for the firm’s new office.

“Our new first class office space is only one piece of our firm’s multi-year plan to grow and diversify our service areas and grow our firm in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area,” said Tully Rinckey PLLC Managing Partner Greg T. Rinckey.

Tully Rinckey PLLC has landed on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies for the past five consecutive years. Between 2007 and 2013, annual revenues increased by 639 percent. During the same period, the firm’s headcount more than tripled to over 100 throughout its six offices in the District of Columbia, Virginia, and upstate New York.

At its new D.C. office, Tully Rinckey PLLC will aim to continue to grow its private sector and federal sector employment law practice. The firm’s labor and employment law attorneys represent D.C. Metro Area private sector employees in a wide range of matters, including claims concerning discrimination, sexual harassment, whistleblower retaliation, and unpaid minimum and overtime wages. Firm attorneys also provide D.C. Metro Area private sector employers with services such as employment contracts, employment litigation and appeals, employee handbooks, workplace investigations, and preventative counseling.
