As Senior Counsel in Tully Rinckey’s Washington, D.C. office, Shelia Weimer focuses her practice on employment law matters originating in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She has over 28 years of legal experience representing clients in localities in both the Western and the Eastern District of Virginia. Shelia has experience handling grievances, EEOC complaints, VEC matters, and has appeared in cases in various state and federal courts throughout Virginia.
Prior to joining Tully Rinckey, Shelia was the County Attorney for Culpeper County, Virginia, and previously served as a local government attorney in various localities throughout Virginia. Earlier in her career, Shelia was a prosecutor and in private practice.
Shelia is a native of Frost, West Virginia, and resides in Mineral, Virginia, on Lake Anna, with her husband. They have one son who recently graduated from law school and is beginning his career as a state government attorney. She earned her B.A. in Political Science with an emphasis in Middle Eastern politics from Berea College, located in Berea, Kentucky. She received her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. She is an avid sports fan of all University of Virginia sports teams and enjoys her leisure time either watching sports or boating with her family and friends.
