Understanding Buffalo Sealing Records Law

New York State allows people convicted of a felony or misdemeanor to seal up to two criminal convictions. To be eligible, you must have been convicted or completed your sentence more than 10 years ago, and you must not have committed a crime or any pending criminal charges since then. A felony can be sealed if the crime is not a violent one, an A-level drug conviction or one that is defined as a sex felony.
